Homey "E"

E is in love with hats! He doesn't care the size, he just wants any hat he can get on his head. The funny thing is he usually can't get in on forwards or backwards, but has somehow figured out how to get the hats on sideways. We call him homey and he just laughs and thinks it is so funny. I love the stage he is in right now where he is trying out his indepent hat. We love you are little homey "E"!

Texas Rangers Game

Due to a funeral, the Links (bestest friends)were unable to use their Ranger tickets. Byron left the tickets with Dane and the Kelleys and Hatches had a night at the Ballpark in Arlington. Because Eme, Easton, and Emmett are still 36 inches or less, the 3 of them got in for free. So we got 9 people in for the price of 6! It was an all-you-can-eat night also. You could have as many hotdogs and chicken sandwiches that you desired. There was also nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and large fountain drinks. Eme would have just been fine with popcorn. She ate near 3/4 of a box of popcorn. Easton loved the hotdogs, buns, drinks (spilled half a drink down the front of him), and peanuts (he kept asking for "mo"). Eme also loved to watch the "baseball guys". She would clap each time a play was made or a new hitter was up. We had a fun time and Eme keeps asking me when we are going to see another baseball game???

Fall Festival at the Arboretum

Last Friday, we went to the Fall Festival @ the Arboretum with my sister-in-law, Kallie. It was fun to walk around the grounds because they have out all their fall decor. There are literally pumpkins everywhere! I like the way they turned the pumpkin houses into a Storybook Pumpkin Village this year. There are more houses this year and it was fun to see Em and East explore the houses. They still aren't sure about the hay mazes. We weren't there for very long because although it was a relatively mild day, poor Em was sweating like crazy and both Em and East were soon very hungry. We headed over to Sonic for a little lunch. Thanks Kallie for hanging out with us and enjoying a beautiful fall day at the Arboretum! Fall, Fall we love it all!!!

Big Girls Don't Cry "Cuy"

This is what Eme has looked like the last 3 Sundays before church. She gets up and tells me that she likes nursery and that she won't "cuy". She is growing up and I tell you I can't resist this cute little face!

Easton and Hats "Ha"

Easton is really into hats these days. He has a hat that hangs on his closet door and every morning he points to his "ha" and wants to put it on. Usually it is to the side because he still hasn't figured out how to put it on forwards or backwards yet. He is by far the cutest homey g I have every seen. It is fun to see our children gaining a little independence and desire to do things on their own.

Tammy's Baby Shower

I can't believe my dearest friend, Tammy is expecting baby #5. Her husband said that most people don't have showers for baby #5 (which is probably true), but most people don't have a twelve year span between boys either. Tammy didn't have anything for a little boy as a result, and received some goodies to help jumpstart her with the new little guy (which based on sonograms, doesn't sound like he's going to be too little). Thanks to my amazingly awesome and creative friend, Sarah - the shower went very well (would also like to send a shout-out to my mom - you always help and come through for me - you're the best). We had yummy food, good cake, a fun game (match the movie star with her baby), great party favors (thanks Sarah), and a candy bar. We love you Tammy and look forward to seeing Little Man Link.
