World Series, Game 5
Dane's buddy Byron purchased tickets for the playoffs and the World Series. Dane was able to go to the playoff game that put the Rangers into the World Series and then he was able to go to last night's game where the Rangers were defeated! Dane went with Byron and his boys early yesterday so they could take it all in (batting practice, hotdogs, smell of the field, the feel of the stadium, etc.). Thanks be to the Link family for providing Dane not only one, but two once-in-a-lifetime experiences that I am sure he won't soon forget! What a season, Go Rangers!!!

Ward Halloween Party
Mom and Dad came over on the 30th for tacos and to take pictures of the kiddos in their Halloween costumes (Em-Little Red Riding Hood and East "The Golfer") before we headed out to our ward Halloween carnival. It was fun for them to see Em and East (aka Bubba - that is what he calls himself when you ask him what his name is) because next Halloween they will be on their mission. Then we headed over to the church for a carnival. It was fun, but the kiddos were tired and weren't interested in participating. We got little to no candy because there was no trunk or treat this year (which is better for me in the long run because I tend to eat the candy too). Happy Halloween!

Friday Fun with Grammy
Last Friday, we went over to my mom's house for some Halloween fun! We decorated Halloween themed sugar cookies and my mom gave each of the kiddos a Halloween bag with some fun treats (Pumpkin head Pez, a movie each for the girlies, paddle balls, cool flash lights with 4 different settings, and some very fun Halloween stickers). The kiddos had a ball and it was fun to get-together and celebrate Halloween since we would be in different cities for our own family Halloween parties! We missed you Kallie and hope you are feeling better (as always Karim we wish you lived closer to participate with us too)!

Preschool- Halloween Celebration
Eme's preschool had a trick or treat and some fun Halloween activities. They made bats, pumpkins, and ghosts. Eme was excited because she could wear her Little Red Riding Hood costume. She made quite a cute Little Red Riding Hood! It is so fun to watch her learn and grow as she attends her preschool weekly.
