Cozumel - Day 5 & Day 6

We went to the beach for a bit then headed out for a trip together on a glass bottom boat. Karim, Ashley, my dad, Josh, Kallie, Lindsey, and Collins all went snorkeling in three different locations around Cozumel. It was beautiful and a little freaky to see fish up so close. We also went and saw a ruin on the island which was where young women would come for purification and meditation before getting married. It was interesting to view and see how they lived. We also took another look around the island going another direction. It is interesting to see the island and how different parts vary from each other. We left the next day and felt a little how Easton looked in this picture. We were tired, but energized and renewed from a week of fun in the sun! Thanks mom and dad for a week of fun, good company, yummy food, and creating fun memories!

December Craziness

Although I have no pictures to post, the month of December seems to have flown by in a hurry. First, along with my friend Sarah, we hosted the Relief Society Christmas Party at the our home. We had the women bring their favority dessert/appetizer and a wrapped ornament to exchange. We didn't have as many show as we thought would, but that is what happens in December with everything going on. It was fun and the women that participated really enjoyed it. Dane has been busy since the Sunday after Thanksgiving with tithing settlement on Sundays and Wednesday nights. He is working like a dog to get things wrapped up at his current job, so he can move onto his new placement at the first of the year. I am excited for him to have new work opportunities and appreciate all he learned at his current job. Emerson had her preschool Christmas party and really enjoyed the crafts, treats, and present opening. In fact, when we got home she wanted to open all her presents under the tree and had a hard time understanding why she couldn't. We are so blessed this time of year and I look forward to spending some quality time with the Jones family over the next couple of weeks. Linds's Birthday

I had a great birthday the day after with my family this year because of the craziness Sunday's bring (ie church schedules, distances traveled, tithing settlement, naps, etc). My mom made her yummy enchiladas and mandarin orange and avacado salad complete with a yellow cake and chocolate frosting (homemade I might add). It was fun to be with my family to celebrate my birthday. Ashley, Little Col Col, Kallie, Karim, and Chris weren't able to participate this year - we missed you guys. I received a new camera/case from my parents, an awesome drink dispenser from Dane, rings from Eme, caramel popcorn from East, a cute bracelet and yummy lotion from Col and Ashley, and these awesome picture boards from my sister-in-law Kallie. Thanks Kallie they will work awesome! It is always fun to get together and have a show put on by the little ones. Thanks for the phone calls and cards - I really appreciated it!
