Since the BYU vs TCU game, Eme has talked of nothing but the fact that she wants to be a BYU cheerleader. Our friends daughter outgrew this cheerleading outfit and thought of Eme - to say she was pleased is an understatement. She slept in the outfit the first night and then insisted on wearing and then taking pictures in her new cheerleading outfit. Not to be outdone, East got in on a few of the pictures. It is so fun to have the kiddos at these interactive ages. Go BYU Cougars!

Annual Tree Decorating with Daddy
Dane grew up with the yearly tradition of the family decorating the tree together. Since having children, he has been able to share that tradition the last couple of years with Eme and this year with Easton. It is a delight to see their eyes sparkle as each ornament is unwrapped and placed on the tree. It is something I am sure our children will look forward to each Christmas. There is something magical about this time of year.

Nutcracker - Grammy, Eme, and Linds
We went to the Chamberlain Ballet Company's presentation of the Nutcracker. It was magical for Eme and she now tells me after seeing it that she wants to be a ballerina. It was so fun to see it with Eme and she did so great the whole two hours. After we went to ice cream and dinner with Grammy and Poppy.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
A friend from work gave Dane two tickets to the Casa Manana Theatre in Ft Worth to see the production of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and he opted to take Em on a daddy-daughter date! She had a blast and got to choose 2 treats (she was wired by the time she got home). She had a great time and Dane was glad he could take her.

Thanksgiving 2010 @ Mom and Dad's House
We had a marvelous Thanksgiving Day with my mom and dad. We had a yummy spread and our tummies were filled and then some. Grammy, Poppy, Eme, and Linds went to see Tangled while Dane and East stayed home and watched football and snoozed. We are so grateful for the blessing of life that our ours and that we live in the country we do. We love having family close by and feel blessed to have such love and support for our family members near and far. We missed all our siblings, sister-in-laws/brother-in-laws, and Dane's parents. What a blessed time of year!

Grandma and Grandpa Hatch come to Texas!!!
Gary and Lori came for a fun, short visit to see their grandkids in Texas. It was fun to have them here. We laughed, played at the park, saw the Dallas Temple, went to dinner with Linds's parents, saw Toy Story 3 at the Dollar Theatre, and allowed Gary and Lori to catch up on sleep and taking it easy for a few days. Although not long enough, it was great to have them come for a visit. We missed having them for Thanksgiving, but were glad to have them here over Veteran's Day Weekend.
