Swimming Pools Aren't Just Outside

One day when the kiddos had too much energy (and no tv to watch) I told them they needed to be creative and create their own fun.  This is what they came up with.  They created their own swimming pool in our bathtub with all of the toys from the armouir in our family room.  It took a bit to clean up, but they had so much fun making the mess and using their imaginations.

Tagg Man

Our little man is growing leaps and pounds (I mean bounds).  I can't believe he will be 7 months soon!  Thanks for bringing so much love and joy into our home!

Easton's 3rd Birthday

Dane had the afternoon of Easton's birthday off while I went and had a mole removed on my neck.  The kiddos had fun with Easton's new birthday gift - a bike and rode to our neighborhood park.  Dane learned quickly that East wasn't quite ready for the big-boy bike quite yet because the concept of braking wasn't registering and East ended up falling en route home.  We now just keep the bike on the flat part of the driveway on work on braking.  We celebrated when I returned home and he received a puzzle, magnet board with abc's, bike, jogging suit, and a bin of animals (he gets up daily to play with these guys - thanks Lori).  We also celebrated Dane's birthday a day early (given that the boys birthdays are only 2 days apart) and Dane and I went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory and shopped for new running shoes for him.  It was fun to be together and have adult conversation!

Cousin Fun

We were able to watch Col Col and Syd while Collins and Ashley went to a Dallas Stars game.  The kiddos has fun watching a movie in their sleeping bag and enjoying "movie" treats.  What fun to have cousins so close!

I love this little man!  He is so full of life and energy.  He wants to do everything by himself (hence the backwards helmet that is way too tight).  He and I go head-to-head almost daily, but he is the sweetest thing in this world and told me the other day "you are the best - I love you so much".  Any hard moment with kiddos makes statements like this all worth it.

Winter or Spring?

We've had such a strange winter that feels more like a very cool spring.  Nonetheless, the kiddos were dying to wear their winter hats and mittens they received for Christmas regardless of the temp outside.

Eme's 50th day of Preschool

To celebrate Eme's 50th day of school, they asked all the students to where 50's style clothes and to bring 50 items to count.  We found 50 hair clipies to take - Eme thought they were the best items that were brought in her class.  It's so fun she's at a stage where simple things make her happy.
