Thanksgiving day we opted to take pictures of the kiddos to see if we could get a good one to send out with our Christmas cards. The kiddos did well, until the last picture I included (Tagg had enough of Easton pulling on him and was showing a bit of frustration). All in all, we came away with some good pictures of the kiddos. Hopefully, one will work.

Chris, Karim, and Sofia Come to Town
One of my favorite things is to have family together during the holidays. We were fortunate to have Chris, Karim, and their cute Sofia here with us in November for Thanksgiving break. Unfortunately, my parents weren't able to be here with us all, but they will be home to celebrate Thanksgiving with us in Texas next November. We did a lot while they were here - we went to the Arboretum to see the Fall Festival (homes made out of pumpkins and hay), had yummy pie shakes, ate way too much yummy Thanksgiving fixings and played some football in the backyard, went to a rainy Mckinney Christmas outdoor celebration, talked, laughed, and enjoyed one another. What a joy the holidays are when you have family to celebrate with!

Sunday Best!
I love to take pictures of the kiddos, but this is usually what we end up with - at least one of them not into the opportunity (especially on a Sunday morning).

Tom the Turkey
Eme is really into projects these days. Daddy was home from work the other day so the two of them got to work on creating a Tom the Turkey pinata. We kept the pinata from her birthday party, so they put a trash bag over the pinata and made a Tom the Turkey so it went with the Thanksgiving holiday. She can't wait until Thanksgiving day when the cousins will be able to pull the pinata strings and win some prizes and candy.

Thanksgiving Feast
Eme's preschool had a Thanksgiving Program and Feast to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. They sang songs and the older kids (aka Kindergarteners) put on a little play acting out the first Thanksgiving. It was fun to see Eme sing and do the actions to the different songs. I was so proud of her because she participated this year and did really well. Dane was also able to come so that made Eme feel even more special that Daddy took off work to see her program. We had a feast after and were able to look a the different projects she has been working on the last month in school. She's growing up too fast!

Our cute buddy
There are few things that beat having this little guy look at you with those big blue eyes and smile. His face lights up everytime he smiles with those cute, big dimples and your heart melts. Tagg makes you feel like a million bucks - here's to having this precious boy in our home!

Fun at the park
The kiddos were in need of some play time to release some energy so I much needed trip to the city park was in order. It was a perfect day - a little overcast, cool, and few people to battle with over space or swinging capabilities (my kiddos favorite). Tagg had his first time in the swing and loved every second of it (there wasn't much movement, but he thought he was a bigshot). I love to see the kiddos outdoors enjoying and exploring this great big world. So much to see and do!
