Brooklyn/NYC Part 5

The last day we were in Brooklyn, my parents took us down to the boat pier that they have redone with parks and water areas.  It was a toasty day and so we tried out the playgrounds first and then Eme and my mom went to find the water area.  When Tagg and I came Eme had not only found it, but she and Easton were in their clothes running around the splash park having a blast.  Then my dad found these cool swings for the kiddos to try.  They both thought they were great, even Tagg wanted in on the fun.  Thanks mom and dad for a fun time and tollerating 4 of us for 6 days!

Eme's Preschool Graduation

Eme graduated from Preschool last night.  It's hard to believe that come fall, she will be in Kindergarten.  Time flies when you are having fun. She really grew socially and academically this last year.  It is fun to see her have a love of learning.  She had a great teacher and enjoyed getting to know the kids in her class.  It was fun because four other kids from church went there also and they rode to school every morning together.  It was fun to see her perform and sing last night.  I can't believe our baby girl will be 5 in August!  We love you Eme! 

Eme's Field Day

Eme and East had fun playing in the bounce house and with the water table.  Then Eme was able to do her road rally with her new bike this year.  She had a blast.  A great way to end a great last year of preschool! 

Mother's Day

I feel so blessed on this day for these 3 cuties.  I am so honored to be their mother and feel so blessed that they affectionately call me "mommy or mama".  As difficult as being a mother can be, I am so grateful I have the blessing of being a wife and mother and raising our children.  I am thankful for the women in my life and the wonderful examples they have set and continue to set for me as I learn and grow in this role.  Happy Mother's Day to all Women!!!

Arboretum Time Again

The boys and I met Mav and Kallie at the Arboretum for a morning of fun.  They have a really cool exhibit right now and East liked taking pictures in from of all the different art work made out of glass.

Brooklyn's Blessing

It was fun to be together for Brooklyn's blessing.  Collins gave a wonderful blessing full of love and warmth for Brooklyn.  It is hard to have these special days with family so far away, but we thought about Chris, Karim, Sofia, Mom, and Dad yesterday.  Ashley had a yummy spread for us after sacrament and we spent the next four hours enjoying one another.  Thanks for a wonderful afternoon, Col and Ashley!
