Orlando - Last Day of Trip (April 15-21, 2010)

My parents and our little fam were the only ones left on our last day in Orlando. We packed, then took our last swim in the pool. It was such a good trip and a very memorable one because Em and Easton were able to really enjoy and take in the different places and things we saw while in Florida. The weather was beautiful and really only rained on Sunday. We are so thankful to my parents for a fun and memorable trip. We had a blast and thank them for making it possible for us to be together for a week of fun. The trip wasn't complete though, because we were missing a very important part. Chris and Karim were not able to make it due to work and school schedules. The trip wasn't the same without you guys!!!!!!! We only hope our next family vacation is complete with you guys there to enjoy with us. See you soon, Florida.

Orlando - Day Trip - Daytona Beach - Josh and Kallie Leave

We spent Josh and Kallie's last day in Florida @ Daytona Beach. It is a drive on beach so you just park your car and the beach is about 10 feet away. Em and Easton ate it up. Easton couldn't get enough of the sand. As soon as we took his binkie out, he was shoveling sand into his mouth as fast as possible. Handful after handful. The binkie went in very quickly, but he kept spitting it out for the taste of some more yummy sand. The kiddos were a little leery of the water and waves at first, but soon warmed up. It was a beautiful day and Em loved building a sand castle with Josh and Kallie, looking for seashells with Grammy, and just enjoying the whole beach experience. It was so fun to see Em and Easton at the beach, hopefully our Jones family future vacations will include a trip to a beach destination somewhere. There is no better thing than family, a beach, waves, and some sun. We had a blast! We even stopped by a hamburger place called Checkers on the way home - it was yummy!
