New York, New York.....

After 7 (long) months we made it to Brooklyn to visit Grammy and Poppy.  We arrived in time for a dinner of Five Guys and then got the kiddos to bed early.  We got up the next day and took the subway into Manhattan.  The kiddos weren't sure about the subway system at first, but they eventually warmed up to it and liked the experience of riding on a train that takes you under water at one point.  We met Chris, Karim, and Sofia at the temple in Manhattan and then walked to Central Park.  We found 2 parks that the kiddos loved and walked around the grounds.  We walked to the area where there is a lake and fountain.  If we hadn't have stopped Easton multiple times he would have jumped in the fountain for fun exploration.  Central Park is an amazing place, I wish we had something in Texas like that.  The weather was to die for and the company was stellar!  Eme was in heaven seeing Sofia (we haven't had a girl on
this side of the family in 4 1/2 years!
It was fun to catch up with Chris and Karim and see our beautiful new niece!  Eme also loved using Tia's camera.  I think we might have a photographer on our hands!  Tagg was a dream and just chilled while Dane carried him around.  We also stopped at Pinkberry to try out the scrumptious ice cream with fruit on top - yum! It was fun to experience New York City again.  The kiddos were real troopers because we walked about 3-4 miles.
