Strike a Pose

Before church this morning these monkeys wanted to have their pictures taken - here is what they came up with.  They are so silly and fun.  Their personalities are really showing through these days!

Halloween

For Halloween, Eme was a cheerleader, Easton was a football player (per Eme's request), and Tagg was a skeleton.  We had a fun family party Friday night, a Trunk or Treat at our church on Saturday (which East wouldn't participate at because the with from the Wizard of Oz freaked him out), and then the festivities of Trick or Treating that only Eme did this year with her friend Jane on Monday.  We are a little candied out, but it was fun for the kiddos to be more involved this year.  Eme already wants to be a Strawberry Fairy for next year.

Halloween Party

My cute sister-in-law Kallie wanted to throw a Halloween party and so we were able to get together the Friday before Halloween.  She went all out with yummy food, ghost bowling, decorating pumpkins with Mr Potato head parts, musical ghouls, and treats for the best costumes.  Eme wanted to wear 2 costumes for Halloween this year and went as a hula girl, Easton was a football player, Tagg a skeleton, and Dane and myself went as a Texas cowboy and cowgirl.  We had a blast and were sorry that Syd was sick so the Joneses couldn't be there.  Thanks for the fun time - we'll have to make it a yearly tradition!

Fall Festival at Eme's Preschool

To celebrate Halloween, Eme's preschool had a Fall Festival.  They had different games for the kids to play and cookies/cupcakes for each child to decorate.  Eme was able to have her face painted and chose to have a pink/purple butterfly.  Her teacher gave her some bubbles in a treat bag and she couldn't wait to get home to try them out.  Easton wasn't sure about the whole experience, but by the end he wanted to try.

Pumpkin Carving with Daddy

Dane and the kiddos decided to carve a witch this year for our pumpkin.  Eme wasn't sure about the seeds and yuck inside the pumpkin, but soon was comfortable enough scooping it out.  Easton thought it was great to get his hands inside of the pumpkin.  It turned out great (thanks Dane) and the kiddos were happy as could be to be doing something fun with Daddy.
