Valentine's Day

The Sunday before Valentine's Day, Eme and Dane set out to do her homework assignment for preschool - make a Valentine's Day box.  It reminded me of my elementary days and what fun I had creating boxes for Valentine's back in the day.  Because Dane is the creative genius in our family, he was quickly recruited.  Eme had a great time and Easton wasn't going to be left out so he created a box all of his own to put his animals in.  The kiddos received fun plasma cars from Grammy and Poppy and our house is so loud, but all I hear (for the most part) is loud laughter with lots of requests for racing.  It is the first thing Easton asks for in the morning.  Eme had a party at her preschool that family was invited to attend.  There was yummy food, face painting, frosting a cupcake/cookie, and a craft that involved stamping red hearts onto paper with a stencil.  East and Em had a great time.  Easton can't wait to go to preschool in the fall.  Dane and I made it to the temple the Saturday before Valentine's day and got a quick bite to eat.  It was fun to be together in as special a place as the temple.  It is wonderful to be able to get away from the world for just a brief moment.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!
