We decided to take the kiddos to the Dallas Zoo on Veteran's Day because Dane was off of work and the day was absolutely georgous. We went to see the lions, tigers, and bears (oh, my), but were disappointed to find out there were none to be seen. We did have fun seeing the elephants, giraffes, monkeys, birds, penguins, pigs, turtles, and flamingos. We took a tour of the area where the snakes, birds, lizards, etc. were and let's just say Emmy was not a fan. One of her favorite places now is the zoo. If you ask her what she is drawing a picture of she will ususally tell you she is playing at the zoo or the park.
