My mom thought it would be fun to have the grandkids act out the Christmas story from the Bible for Family Home Evening while in Cozumel. We met in my parents room and Syd was Mary, Little Collins was Joseph, Eme was the Angel, and Easton was a Shepherd. The kiddos had a hard time acting it out until the end of the story and finally Little Collins came and gave Eme and Syd big bear hugs. It was cute and fun to see all the grandkids participating even if they didn't get exactly what they were acting out!
We had a day of fun in the sun. Dane couldn't come until a few days late due to work and church obligations, so it was fun to have him join in on the fun (plus the kiddos missed him and were ready to have their daddy with them). We played on the beach, ate, and just relaxed. It was nice to have a down day for the kiddos to just be kids and enjoy the water and sand. Every day after we left our rooms, the housekeepers would come in and make a cute animal for us out of towels/washcloths. It was fun to see what the newest animal would be. Eme thought it would be fun to put the flow in her hair from the animal made for us on the third day ( a pig I think with a flower in it's mouth).
